Fair play

PrivatePS is a free server run for the people who play on it. Fair play keeps the economy and the highscores meaningful for everybody. This page is the short version; the full list is on the rules page.

Never allowed

• Bots, autoclickers and macros. Every action must come from a real click or key press. (The server's own helper bots are marked as bots and are not players.)
• Real-world trading. Selling gold, items, accounts or services for money is a permanent ban.
• Bug abuse and duplication. Found a bug? Report it; using it for profit is a ban, and duplicated items are removed.
• Scamming, laundering and boosting. Moving items or gold between your own characters or accounts to hide where they came from, or to get around trade limits, is not allowed. Selling far below the normal price to someone else, or trading back and forth to fake prices, is the same thing.
• Account sharing and theft. Staff never ask for your password; never give it to anyone.

What we watch

The server checks the economy for unusual activity, such as trades that do not look like normal play. Nothing is punished by a machine alone: staff look at every serious case first. Extreme cases may have a trade or item blocked for a while until a moderator has looked at it, and that is always reversible.

If something happens to you

• Warning, then mute or jail, then a 7-day ban, then a permanent ban. Real-world trading, botting, duplication and account theft lead straight to a permanent ban.
• Disagree? Open an appeal ticket on Discord (button in #how-to-report). Punishments are logged and can be reviewed.
• Lost items because of a bug or a hacked account? Tell us with the Report button in game or in #report-a-bug; the economy can be rolled back carefully when needed.

How to help

Use the red Report button in game for players who break the rules, and the bug report for bugs. Please do not accuse people in public chat.
