Skills and rates
How fast skills level up on PrivatePS, how long 99 takes and which skill content is in the game.
The pace
The world runs at 15x experience for every skill, including combat. Each skill is then tuned so that reaching level 99 takes roughly 25 to 30 hours of active play with good methods. Some skills have a lower multiplier than others to make that true, so the same action can give a different amount of XP than you might expect.
Exceptions:
- Farming is meant to take about a week of real time with three farming runs per day.
- Combat skills, Prayer and Slayer are not tuned to a fixed time.
- Your character's XP mode (2x or 5x) multiplies the result.

Differences from Old School RuneScape
- Smithing: every bar that needs coal needs only one coal.
- Agility: many more marks of grace than the original game, and a trade-in menu at the Rogues' Den.
- Runecrafting: the coal bag and the essence pouches are in the game.
- Skilling minigames can train faster than the plain skill. See Minigames and bosses.

Highscores
The highscores list every skill and the total level per game mode. Bots are not counted. Your profile page shows your levels and game mode.
