Release notes
Every update, newest first. Short notes are also posted in Discord #changelog.
2026-10-15 (live-20261015-1904)
Changes
- Wintertodt: only one brazier can be broken at a time, and after you repair it the next one cannot break for a minute.
- Pest Control now pays fewer points per game (10 / 12 / 15 for a win on the Novice / Intermediate / Veteran boat), so a full Void set takes about 57 wins on the Veteran boat.
- Wintertodt camp: the bank chest works, the camp people explain the game, herb and concoction crates work, and unused roots and kindling disappear when you leave the arena.
- A welcome screen now opens after you log in: when you were last here, a news line, a "Click here to play" button, a bank PIN box and a supporter box; you can set a 4-digit bank PIN there (or with
::bankpin) and the bank asks for it once per login. - Link your Discord account with a normal Discord login on the website account page (no more codes needed); your rank and supporter roles in the Discord server follow automatically.
- The Discord server has a new layout: read #rules and press the accept button to unlock the community channels; updates, what to test and known issues have their own channels.
- [client] Thieving: "Pickpocket" is now the left-click action on every NPC you can pickpocket (guards, knights, heroes included) and "Steal-from" on every stall; the other options stay in the right-click menu.
- Website: a new Guides section with how to play and connect, commands, game modes and XP modes, skills and rates, minigames and bosses, staff and ranks, an FAQ, the full release notes, what to test and coming soon. The pages update with every release.
- New "What to test" tab in the client: a checklist of what to try in the current build, with a progress bar; your ticks are saved per character.
- New characters are made in the game: press Create character in the launcher, type your name in the game window, then choose your game mode and xp mode (Normal, Fast x2 or Fast x5). Character cards now show a chat-head portrait with your worn helmet, a Login button, and a small x to delete.
- Buying from shops works again.
- All eight Grand Exchange offer slots are open to everyone. The discontinued rares (partyhats, Santa hats, Halloween masks, ...) are no longer sold on the Grand Exchange.
- [server] New characters start with music, sound effects and area sounds at 10%, "left-click where available" on for NPC attacks and shift-click drop on; all can be changed in the settings tab. The login screen is silent.
- [server] Clicking a track in the music tab now plays it (manual mode); the manual, area and random buttons work.
- Music tab: almost every music track is unlocked from the start; only boss, raid and minigame tracks stay locked until you visit them (they count towards the music cape). New characters start with music and sound volume at 0%; raise it in the settings tab.
- New xp modes "Fast x2" and "Fast x5" for players with little time, chosen when you create a character.
- Grand Exchange prices no longer swing during the day; they are updated weekly from the real OSRS prices.
- The server now restarts automatically every Sunday at 05:00 server time, with a 15 minute countdown in game and a post in #announcements; the Grand Exchange prices are refreshed at that restart.
- Opening the collection log no longer disconnects you.
- Logging out now returns to the login screen and the launcher logs you in again without a password.
- Depositing an item into the bank now fills its placeholder instead of taking a new slot.
- Bank fix: deposited items stack in one slot again and noted items are stored un-noted; banks that were already split into several stacks are merged when you open them. NPCs no longer spawn twice around Lumbridge.
- The Grand Exchange now opens the item search straight away when you start a buy offer.
- New
::commandsshows every command you can use. - New xp modes "Fast x2" and "Fast x5" for players with little time, chosen when you create a character.

Changes
- Talking to the Pest Control lander squires no longer disconnects you.
- Pest Control portals now stay in place and face the Void Knight.
- The Grand Exchange price buttons (-5% / +5%) in an offer are switched off. Home, spawn and Grand Exchange teleports now land at the Grand Exchange teleport spot, and long teleports spread you over a few tiles instead of stacking everybody on one tile.
- The Slayer masters now stand where the owner marked them at the Grand Exchange; the Ironman tutor moved. Spirit trees with a single "Travel" option work.
- Run energy drains three times slower, run is on when you log in, and the Sit down emote restores run energy five times faster.
- The website now shows the real highscores and player profiles, and has an account page where you can link your Discord, change your password and manage your characters.
