Underground Pass

Underground Pass

Region	Ardougne
Quest points	none
Reward XP	3,000 Agility, 3,000 Attack

Underground Pass is a quest of Ardougne. Start it by talking to the person named in your quest journal; the journal tells you the next step as you go.

Rewards

Quest reward XP is multiplied by 10 (normal XP is 15x); see Experience rate.

• Iban's staff and use of the Iban Blast spell
• Klank's gauntlets

Requirements

Skill levels are only warned about when you start: the quest tells you if one of your levels is lower than needed to finish it, and a step you lack the level for cannot be completed.

Walkthrough

1. Talk to King Lathas in Ardougne Castle (2579 3294, first floor) and agree to find a way through the Underground Pass

3. Enter the cave (2433 3313), talk to Koftik at the camp (2449 9716) and search the gear (2452 9715) for cloth; make an arrow with the cloth, light it, and shoot the bridge rope (2443 9718) with a bow from the east side
4. Cross the pit with a rope (crate with rope at 2442 9697), pull the portcullis lever (2466 9672) and take the four orbs of light: 2382 9668 (disarm the trap), 2386 9677, 2385 9685, 2416 9698
5. Throw all four orbs into the furnace (2454 9683) near the zombie camp
6. Climb down the well (2416 9674)
7. Search the cage (2397 9605) for the railing, push the boulder (2398 9593) with it, search the smashed cage (2371 9603) for the unicorn horn
8. Kill the three paladins (2424 9721) for their coats of arms, then use the horn and the three coats of arms on the well of blood (2373 9718) and open the great door (2368 9717)
9. Talk to Koftik, then take the tunnel south (2150 4545) to the dwarves; talk to Niloof (2313 9807) and Klank (2324 9805) for the gauntlets
10. Distract the witch Kardia: pick up her cat (2133 4603), use it on her door (2158 4566), open the door and open the chest (2157 4564) for the doll and the book
11. Show the doll to Niloof
12. Read the old book. Kill Kalrag (2356 9911) with the doll in your inventory; fill a bucket at the brew barrel (2327 9799), use the brew and a tinderbox on Iban's tomb (2356 9800) for ashes; kill the three demons for amulets and open the chest (2136 4578) for the shadow; wear Klank's gauntlets and search the cage (2134 4702) for the dove. Use each on the doll
13. Kill a disciple of Iban for Zamorak robes (a top and bottom), wear them, enter Iban's temple (2143 4647) and use the doll on the Well of Voyage (2136 4647)
14. Talk to Koftik (2013 4712) to leave the pass and report to King Lathas

These are the main steps. Talk to the NPCs again if you are unsure, and use the approved Quest Helper plugin for every detail.
