Pandemonium

Upcoming Sailing update: this mandatory introduction is being prepared and tested. The instructions below apply once that update is installed. If Sam still offers unrestricted sea trials, use that current starting flow.

How to start

Speak to Will or Anne on the Port Sarim docks after the update introduces the mandatory quest.

Preparation

  • The prepared introduction supplies the training raft and delivery; you do not need to buy a ship first.
  • Start through Will or Anne before asking Sam for the quest training.

Walkthrough

  1. Speak to Will or Anne on the Port Sarim docks and agree to help with the supply delivery.
  2. Speak to Shipwright Sam nearby. Start the training raft, use its helm to steer and touch all four training buoys.
  3. Return to Sam after training. Ask him to load the supplies and set sail on the loan raft toward The Pandemonium.
  4. Sail to The Pandemonium and dock; this is a real delivery voyage, not a dialogue-only completion.
  5. Speak to Junior Jim on The Pandemonium docks to hand in the delivery, complete the introduction and unlock ordinary Sailing.

PrivatePS details

This is a shortened PrivatePS introduction, not the entire original-game Pandemonium storyline. Existing players must also finish it after the mandatory-start update; their current boats, items and experience remain. The reward adds a first raft if a fleet slot is free; a full fleet keeps its existing boats and can still complete the quest. If you leave during the delivery, return to Sam to reload it. Afterwards, follow the Sailing guide for ports, jobs, crew and salvage.
