- Talk to Brother Omad at the monastery (2604 3209) and start the quest
- Climb down the ladder at the stone circle (2621 3261), kill or avoid the thieves and take the child's blanket (2570 9604); give it to Omad
- Ask Omad about Brother Cedric, agree to look for him
- Find Brother Cedric in the forest (2614 3259); bring him a jug of water
- Agree to help with the cart and bring him logs or a plank
- Tell Omad that Cedric is on his way
